Taste + Talk Forum # 1 - Quality of Life and Downtown Vitality

The first Taste + Talk forum was held at the San Mateo Library on February 8th (6-7:30pm) to explore the "ingredients" that collectively make a great downtown. Three panelists (Egon Terplan, Regional Planning Director at San Francisco Bay Area and Urban Research Association (SPUR); Kelly Kline, Economic Development Director / Chief Innovation Officer at City of Fremont; and Karen Alschuler, Founding Principal of Cities+Sites at Perkins+Will) shared multiple perspectives about the key principles to a thriving downtown environment.
